The material is soft, doesn't shrink. I would prefer this shirt with 3/4 sleeves, though. I loved these until I got the pima cotton stretch shirts, which I don't see offered anymore. Fits loosely and ends at high hip. Casual, good with jeans or shorts.
I love the style and feel of this t-shirt...I have 5 all in black. What's disappointing is that they have all shrunk in length despite always being washed in cold and dried on delicate/low, and the colour has faded so it is no longer black-black. They're only fit for home/gardening wear now.
I bought my first (but certainly not my last) pima cotton shirt this spring. What an incredible addition to my wardrobe - it's polished for work but plenty comfortable for weekend/casual wear. The fabric accomodates the changing seasons very well - it's been handy to have during the transition from the cooler temps in early spring to the warmer days of later April. If you can choose only one shirt to buy, this would be it.
