I was reluctant to order this shirt because of the reviews saying the arms were too tight. My upper arms are fairly heavy but there was room to spare. The XL was true to size and the sleeves were even long enough for my long arms. I just ordered 2 more.
I have purchased pima cotton shirts since 2005. This is the first year I have found the sleeves to be too slim. I have measured them against what I have hanging in my closet now. There is quite a difference so I know I am not imagining things. Someone got the cutting patterns screwed up. I have three different colours and each has the same problem. This is very disappointing. They are being returned since I cannot wear them with comfort. Would LLBEAN comment please?
The shirt looked fine when it arrived. I had previously purchased the V-neck in another color as well as a turtle-neck. But I should have inspected the product more carefully. After one day of wear, I noticed a small hole in the fabric on the sleeve -- not on the seam -- but just above it. Very disappointing!
there is a major problem: it shrinks substantially in length. It becomes square and boxy after several trips through the laundry, even when following label instructions.
Because I love the smooth and comfy feel, I'll probably keep buying LLB pima cotton shirts, and launder with extra care. Still, I wish this problem could be solved. Perhaps they just need to be longer when new to allow for loss in length.
