LLB sizing has become too inconsistent. Sorry these are going back. Very generous in width and length in body and sleeves too long. Neckline to wide and open and lower cut than I like. The Beans tee with V neckline is what I prefer but it has 3/4 sleeves. Wish it was offered with long sleeves. I also like the sizing better in that tee when it's right. Unfortunately Bean's sizing has become too hit or miss. I have to send too many back because of this. : (
I am 5'5" and 165 lbs, and wear large. The fit is great. The length is to hips. The pima cotton is thick enough to hide the colour of bra I am wearing or flab.. The V-neck is great for those of us with short necks. I don't have a problem with the sleeves as others mentioned. These are a staple in my wardrobe, I own several colours, all of them good. The pima cotton is nice and smooth, so a dressier looking tee. I wear them as an only shirt, or dress up with infinity scarves or jewelry, or under a button up shirt if it is really cold.
I bought these shirts 5+ years ago and loved them. They fit great back then, and out of the 3 I just purchased, only 1 am I keeping and it is not that great. The sleeves fit so tight all along the arm. Not comfortable. I am 5' 5" tall and 150 lb. The one I am keeping fits a little less tight in the arms. The fabric seems different than the old ones I have too. Would not order again and would not recommend.
I just got this shirt in XL and am so impressed by the fit, comfort and quality. It is soft and luxurious. But it is not so thin like many of t-shirts of today. I am back on the site to order more in essential colors. This will be my new favorite. Thank you for making something so fine!
