I love LL Bean products, so I bought three different tees for my wife. She used to have a tee from here and loved it. But you apparently have to be just the right height for these tees to fit right for the length. At first, they fit great. But after she wore them and washed them one time in cold and dried them on low heat, they shrunk two to three inches and are way too short. I have to send all three of them back now. If she is tall or long-waisted, these probably won't be long enough.
Purchased and wore the nautical red pima cotton tee to wear underneath a vest. Didn't wash it before first wearing and the dye rubbed onto my vest. All over the inside and outside of the vest. The vest is now ruined. If the dye removes that easily LLBean should advertise wash before wearing. Comfortable tee but now I don't have anything to wear with it!
This is my favorite shirt. Looks great, has a slimming design, the fabric is deliciously soft, and it washes well. Dark blue color is great, and I can wear this to work or around the house. I can always count on LL Bean quality. I'm planning to order another of these shirts in red.
