I wanted a little tote to lug around the essentials for my sons when we go out. This bag fit the bill. It's durable, and holds everything we need for a quick trip to the store or a day out with friends.
I own several (3) other of these zip-top boat totes. All were much better quality, included outer front pocket, internal sectioned pockets (3 on one side and a large on the other). Additionally, the bag had a clip for keys, purse, etc. on the interior of the bag. I received the XL tote this morning and am very disappointed. The seams are ragged, no exterior or interior pockets, and no clip. Shabby craftmanship. I'd return the bag had I not ordered with a monogram.

I ordered the large Boat and tote bag and I love it. I have had a lot of gym bags in my day (I am a personal trainer/part-time Group Exercise Instructor) This is by far the best. I can store literally everything that I require plus more: workout shoes, lunch ,x-tra change of clothes, toiletries..I could go on! I have destroyed many a gym bag in my career so I know a sturdy,durable bag when I use one. Thanks so much! I am ordering a small size today to use as a purse. Much Thanks!

The Boat and Tote is so much more than a bag. It is a symbol of American practicality. I have a had a boat and tote all my life since I was a junior high student. I have used it as a beach, grocery, laundry, book, diaper, winter clothes storage bag. When I moved home from college, I packed a variety of them with all my cherished possessions. I even carried/keep a sewing machine in my extra large bag. Every summer I break out my small bag with extra long handles to use as a summer purse. I can't imagine my life without my boat and tote This is a bag that no matter how dirty or tattered it gets, which will take decades, that you will always be happy you bought it because it looks great, holds everything and anything, and you'll have it so long it will feel like an old friend that you have shared a lifetime of memories with.
