I've been eyeing the LL Bean Boat totes for years and being in Canada, I was always hesitant to make a purchase without having touched the product first. I finally decided to bite the bullet and I made the purchase and I have absolutely no regrets! I can see the tote lasting me for years as the posts attests. I'm looking forward to building my collection (as well as that of my two daughters') of LL Bean totes in all sizes and rainbow of colours.
I ordered the XL bag specifically for going to the beach, and when they say XL they mean XL. This bag is huge! There is no doubt that it will fit everything my family of five needs for a day at the beach, and some. The canvas looks and feels extremely sturdy and I really think it will live up to the LL Bean tote's reputation of durability and reliability. I'm really happy with this purchase and have a feeling my family will get years of use out of this bag. I will probably be ordering this in another size or two for other purposes as well.
I absolutley love the tote bags. I have them in various sizes and colours and constantly find a use for them all. I have a medium bag with my name embroidered on it & I've received lots of compliments for it. My latest purchase is the large tote, bought specifically for my dogs towels and travel items etc. My mum also has a few bags in various sizes (& colours) and also finds them really useful. I can't recommend them enough, the bags are strong, durable and look really nice! I would just like to add that the service we received being international customers was excellent.
