I absolutely love this bag! It is so durable & strong, and I can already tell it is going to be my go-to bag for a long, long time to come! Not only that, but the ship time was mind-blowing. When I had ordered my bag, I chose to get it monogrammed (which looks fantastic, by the way) and when checking out online, it was noted that the ship time would be 1-2 weeks due to the personalization factor. I totally understood and was ready to wait the 2 weeks. BUT! I ordered my bag on a Tuesday night, and it was delivered to my doorstep by that Thursday afternoon. For reference, I live in CT. Regardless, I was so happy with how fast the whole process was & it is evident that LL Bean really cares about the satisfaction of their customers! I ordered the medium bag and it is the perfect size to use for school- it can fit my laptop & books easily with plenty of room to spare. I am so happy!! Thank you so much, LL Bean!
I have these bags in medium, large and extra large. They are versatile, durable and quite nicely made. I would not have reordered them again and again if I didn't like them. I like the different monogram options also. I highly recommend these bags.
My husband & I have several of these bags in large & x-large. Bought two at the store in Maine in 1990 while on a train trip (to carry home gallons of maple syrup). They are nearly indestructible. I am a quilter and have a bag for any size quilt that I pack to meetings and classes. In a house that must have at least 20 bags in various sizes & shapes, these are the bags that are constantly in use.
I have been looking for a medium size general bag for a while, finally bought another custom tote bag. I like the sturdy construction of the product, just wish there were a couple of other extras that could be added in. Such as the interior pocket that some of the new totes have and the option of some sort of narrow side pocket to keep papers or a folder from being crumpled, maybe wide enough for a tablet? I know that there are other bags/totes with these functions..... Maybe it would be possible for the custom totes as well?
