These bags are the bomb!!! I have one medium and two large zip-tops all with the extra long handles (I recommend the extra long handles if you want to put them over your shoulder when hauling). They are AWESOME. I mostly use the big ones for shopping, and I'm happy to say I haven't taken a plastic bag out of Wal-Mart for years!! People are always very impressed with how much stuff you can haul in these. You can put in anything that you can lift and those handles will NOT break. The medium size will perfectly carry two gallon-sized jugs of milk side-by-side along with some other small items. I've even used the medium as my "purse" on an airline because you can fit so much into it, and it stays in my car at all times so I never have to take plastic shopping bags from any retailers. Buy these and use them as your shopping bags - they're good for the planet, they last forever, and you'll love it! (Wouldn't you love to never have to worry if your items are going to break through the bottom of the bag as you're walking through the parking lot on your way to the car??)
I can't give enough kudos to this tote! It is always ready to go!!!! No time spent trying to get a hand in holes to pick up--the handles stand ready to go. It NEVER flops over. Wonderful, wonderful!
We have had probably 12 of these bags over the years. We use them for everything. Lobsterman husband has the XL size to carry his things to the boat. I use the medium for grocery shopping, overnight bags, travel, beach...almost anything. They are durable and stand up to any abuse. I use a mini for a lunch bag.
I love these classic tote bags from LLBean and have several of them. However, I was VERY disappointed to discover the "Bittersweet" color is orange. Online it appears to be a cross between red & dark pink, but this came out of the package completely differently. It is orange which is not what my daughter wanted. Stick to the basic colors otherwise your monogrammed purchase will certainly be bittersweet.
