Just received my new open-top bag. The large IS large - even larger than I expected. However, I am a high school teacher and have a lot to carry. This bag will hold it all and more, and is sturdy enough to stand up on its own! The long handles are great - I can throw the bag on my shoulder. I can see that I will have many years of service from this bag. My only concern is that it holds so much that I will have to be careful not to overfill it and make it too heavy! :)

I gave this Large bag to my sister for her birthday. She's a nanny and has packed everything but the kitchen sink in this bag. It's packed with toys, books, shoes, full large food containers, it goes to school, the park, the back of her car - and it still looks good and it as sturdy as ever. The monogram was the best thing - she can spot this bag and know it's her bag - and the kids know too. She used to put things in flimsy bags and paper sacks - this bag stopped that and made her life a easier.
