There aren't enough superlatives to describe this bag. I saw one at the beach in xtra large and knew I had to have one. That one, however, was natural with blue handles and I thought a bit boring for the beach. So, I designed my own in bright, beach colors and it looks phenomenal! It fits towels and dry clothes and sun block and is so super sturdy. I am so pleased with it on every level. My daughter starts kindergarten and her school asked us to send in ECO FRIENDLY bags to transport her nap mat. I designed one in crayon primary colors and got her a large size, it is PERFECT and looks so cute w/ her monogram. It fits her nap mat and her rain boots standing up perfectly. I also got her a small one to bring to school every day to bring classmate gifts, extra snacks in place of grabbing a plastic shopping bag. I got my 2nd grader a medium sized on in navy with dark green handles and cayenne pocket - very fall looking - so he can also have an eco-friendly transport bag for all the extras that may not fit in back pack. His mono also looks super cute and so boyish in the collegiate block style. These bags are such high quality and look so cute I would buy one for every child in his class to save the environment from plastic bags!
I have had two totes for several years, one large with short handles & one medium with long straps. I have used the medium for school books, work, & as a carry on. I use the large for errands, beach/pool, car trips, etc. The instructions say to spot clean, but I hand wash with mild detergent and my bags look like new. I love them so much, I have given a set of monogrammed bags as a wedding shower gift more than once.
I received my large tote as a gift from my mentor when I finished my student teaching 4 years ago. It is an amazing teaching bag!!! It is very sturdy and does not show any signs of wear. I have also used it as a beach bag during the summer. It fits everything. :)

These are the BEST bags on the market! They are strong, sturdy, and can be packed full of whatever you need to transport. I currently own 6 of the medium size, one large zipper top, and a couple of the mini tote bags. I keep the medium bags in the car and use them regularly for groceries, since I despise plastic grocery bags. Everyone is always commenting on them and asking where I got them. Since you can pack them full and you know they won't rip, you can fit about 2-3 (plastic) bags' worth of groceries in each one. I have one bag from a competitor company and don't like it nearly as much. I can't seem to get enough of these LL Bean totes!
