Amazing bag. I use it for a lot of different things. Only downfall is that I cannot throw it in the washing machine without losing the stiffness of the bag. Otherwise, it is worth every penny!
As another customer stated the sizing is much bigger than listed. I ordered the Large which is supposed to be 17" wide. It was actually 22 inches. The measurement they are giving is the inside bottom of tote, standing up, filled out. I couldn't possibly use this as a carry on with it being so large. I've reorded it in a medium and hoping for the best. It is a very nice tote - I hope LLBean can find another way to convey the actual outside measurements.
I've been using these LL Bean tote bags for years to haul props to photo shoots, and they just can't be beat for their sturdiness and durability. Also love the black and cream color - classic! Wish they still carried the version with leather handles, but that was discontinued a few years ago.
Great bag, but the measurements on the website appear to be incorrect. I just measured my large bag and it is 21 inches wide. Way bigger than I expected.
