These are the best! I use them over and over. I use them for my groceries every week. I have washed them and they stand up extremely well. I have other totes that I use for shopping bags, but none are as good as these.
Bought first tote in 1976 in Freeport. Was in college. Still have it. Bought one for my mom & sister. They have both passed on, and I now have their totes too.

we have used your totes for just about everything...we have now just retired one of the large open totes to the barn..to be used for hauling horse tack..from show to show..the extra larger open tote hauls one child size english saddle quite nicely and makes it easy for children to carry their own saddle with out dragging straps on the ground...everyone nows when we have arrived at a show...its the horse stall with all the L.L.bean totes...thanks for making such great totes we have one tote that has seen a hard life and is still going strong after twenty years of service
Dear LLBean... I LOVE LOVE LOVE your light pink trim on your totes; however, you no longer have this option, which is weird since light pink is SO popular. You have the darker pink but not the light. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring it back...in addition you could market it in two places on your site... in the regular tote section and then maybe the kids section. Thanks for reading, M.
