The extra large tote is perfect for the big trip to the grocery store. I was able to fit more than 20 items into the bag. It beats carrying four or five of the smaller, flimsy bags the stores want to sell you for 99 cents. You get what you pay for, and the LL Bean tote is more than worth the investment. I've ditched all of those little bags and will be using my extra large tote all the time, and I just ordered a large tote. LL Bean comes through again.
There's no way to leave a review on the custom tote bag page. Please fix that. I bought two bags that I designed about 3 years ago. One was xlarge white canvas with a zipper top, blue handles, orange pockets (Broncos' colors!). The other is a large, dark blue bag with green handles and a pink pocket. Both arrived quickly. The quality was evident.
After three years, they both still look great. The smaller one is used daily. it's been on planes, trains, boats, cars, etc. and is usually packed to the hilt. While the canvas has softened a little, the seams are still intact. I love these bags and may order another one just for variety.

My honey and I designed his birthday tote on Sunday. I unwrapped the package on Friday! This is CRAZY! I expected to get this custom made tote just in time for his birthday on 5/20! This tote is incredible. The materials and workmanship are just top notch. Absolutely perfect. I have been using these totes for my entire lifetime and there are none better -- none that even come close to this quality, in fact! Highly recommended! Thank you, once again, LLBean!
I wanted something other than a traditional briefcase for work and this bag was featured in the movie Marley and Me when Jen went to the airport. I got the longer handles and had it monogrammed - I love it and will enjoy carrying to and fro work.
