I simply love the LL Bean tote. I bought my first one over 25 years ago to use as a diaper bag. I love to buy them as part of a baby or bridal shower gift...monogrammed...with the gift inside ... always a favorite. You will never go wrong with this product...it is worth it's weight in gold...and is probably tougher than gold. Love it.
I have a total of 4 totes and LOVE THEM!!!! My extra large with a zipper is great for traveling! I have taken it everywhere!!!! The medium open size is perfect as a grocery shopping bag, not to heavy filled so just order another one in medium. My original tote is 10 yrs old and still looks perfect! Besides the monogramming I added some iron on patches as a personal touch. Will order more!
I got this as a gift 5 years ago when I first became a teacher. I have used it everyday to take books, lunches, and my laptop, etc. back and forth to school. My name is monogramed on the side. After 5 years of constant use, I have ordered another one. I don't really NEED another one, as the original still does its job, but I just wanted a spiffy new one! I will retire the old one to use as a grocery hauler. I also have the medium sized tote and am using it as a diaper bag. Perfect!
my wife and i bought a extra large zip top for grocery shopping ( tired of plastic bags ) and almost every week we get compliments from the cashier on the fit , finish , and just how much we can fit in the bag .
we also own a large bag with a rubberized bottom that we use for the beach .
