I bought this bag to "down size" from my usual purse. This was an awesome idea! The sides stay up and the opening is large enough to actually see everything in there! I had my initials put on the front and a zipper put in the top and I get tons of compliments on how cute my bag is! Definately worth the money! You'll love it if you get one!
I went by previous reviews in terms of what I should purchase and this tote lived up to its reputation. The best part is how amazingly sturdy it is! I love that it doesn't collapse and fall over when I set it down.
This was my first purchase from LL Bean. We have a boat and I thought what a perfect thing to have a Boat & Tote to take my things back and forth. Well I couldn't have been more right. I was so surprised by how well the bag is constructed. Strong and sturdy. I was going to have the boat name put on it, but then changed my mind and put my own name on it. I love how it looks. I chose RED w/ red lettering. I know I will have this bag FOREVER. I picture one of my granddaughters one day carrying it around saying "this used to be my grandmother's bag."
