I use this bag for grocery shopping mainly and I love it! I have two in Medium size with Long handles for groceries, and one Medium with Short handles to haul craft materials around. They fit so much, and are far sturdier than anything you can get at the store - certainly better than those flimsy canvas ones all the stores are trying to sell now. Furthermore, my house is no longer overrun with plastic bags.
I was given a large monogrammed Boat and Tote as a new baby gift. We still use this bag regularly and my baby is now 7! This bag is well constructed and very durable. Definitely a practical gift that will be enjoyed for years to come by the recipient. Great gift for any age, literally!
I got the XL last summer. My family laughed at how huge it was!! They weren't laughing at the beach when ALL my stuff fit in it! Since then, my grandson was born, and going down to spend weekends at my daughter's, the XL will hold everything I need. Love the bag, just wish it had inside (and 1 outside) pockets. Since we go to a lot of dog shows, I need lots of practical bags for packing both our things, and things for the dogs, these bags are attractive, practical, and durable. They are easy to load in the truck with all the dog crates.
