Once again I can't say enough about the Boat & Tote Bag. I always give them as monogrammed gifts to friends who have a baby and they're a big hit. I just wish they offered the pastel colors year round.

This bag is a great baby gift and I've bought dozens thru the years. However, I wish LL Bean would carry ALL colors all year. You can only get the light blue and bright pink during warm weather months.
I ordered a large first not knowing how large it is, which works great for many things. I liked the bag so well I ordered it is medium also for everyday use. I love the long handle it makes it so easy to carry.
I ordered the custom large tote with zip top, long handles & pocket, all in black with monogramming for our trip to France. The handles were just able to fit over the stroller handles & the pocket was the perfect size to hold the Rick Steve's guide book. We fit absolutely everything in it: diapers, cameras, bottled water, passports, souvenirs, jars of baby food and countless items we bought along the way. It still looked sleek, and it was the best bag to use as an airport carry on because of it's deceptively smaller scale (maybe the dark color?). We used this throughout our entire trip and never used our backpacks or other over the shoulder bags we had packed. I am now going to order it in medium for a combination purse/diaper bag.
