So the only reason I am giving this 4 and not 5 stars is because there is no options to have the base color changed. Other than that I love it, have only had it for a few days so we will see how the zipper holds up. I ordered the large with zipper and longer handles. I know I will be using this bag for years to come. The quality cannot be compared to any other brand. LL bean nailed this one. I would ask that LL bean consider adding the option to have the main bag color be a few darker shades just because I know it will look dingy soon. I did scotch guard mine but know that will only buy me a bit of time.
Super duper fast and free shipping! Even with monogram I received my order really fast, even before the expected ship date. The bag is perfect and the monogram is perfect, I went with LLBean suggested coordinating color. This bag is great quality and the price is very reasonable. I bought this to carry my little dog around so the long handle option is really great.
The bag is nice and sturdy, but my initial was crooked. LLbean has very good customer service and they sent me a replacement item the next day. The second one looks better, but the letter is not in the middle:( I still like the bag but I'm not 100% happy with it.
The small tote is good for everyday use and the medium with regular handles is perfect as a shoulder bag. I'm 5'5" 100lbs for reference.
