I ordered the small tote for a friend for her birthday. The tote is made of very sturdy canvas and should last for quite some time. However, it is a little smaller than I thought it would be.
This bag has lived up to all of my expectations. I got the small, and use it as an everyday purse. It is the perfect size, because it can fit tons of stuff in it if the need arises, but isn't too large or overpowering for everyday use. When it first arrived I thought the straps were too short, but after using it I have realized they are the perfect length. I love this bag!
I bought the xlarge zip top for myself and my daughter and they have been the greatest bags we have! They are perfect for a holiday or my teen daughter uses it for sleepovers and weekends at the cottage. They are super tough and hardly show any wear. We have bought two more of them for my teen neices and my daughter wants to order one for her best friend for Christmas!
I purchased the medium w/long handles in blue. The medium is the perfect size for what I am using it for. It is not too big, not too small. I have gotten a lot of compliments on this item. My only suggestion is for LL Bean to offer more colors. I like the blue, but it is a little darker than I wanted.
