I too gave these bags as bridesmaid gifts. I filled them with monogrammed beach towels and water bottles from LLBean and also some sun essentials such as sunscreen, lotion and lipbalm. The girls loved it! I also have been giving these as baby gifts for many years. I fill them with books because after babies outgrow the diaper bag they still need a good bag to carry books and other items to grandma's house. It is always a big hit with new moms.
Ordered these as bridesmaid gifts in large.... they are HUGE! Glad I ordered the long straps because otherwise they would be too bulky to carry. I ordered different colours for each of the bms with monogramming. The stitching colour matches the bags very well - very happy with them! Also I ordered one small by mistake but it is a great size for a lunch bag or book bag.
These bags are simply fantastic. They hold everything and last forever (my family has some that are at LEAST 36 years old and are still going strong). They can take a beating and you simply can't kill them. I have some in every size and style, zip top, long handle. They're great. You can't go wrong with this!
This is my favorite "New Baby" gift. I've bought the small size for many friends and family and had the baby's initials monogrammed on it. They've received rave reviews! One little girl is now 5 and still carries it around everywhere. She never fails to lift up her bag proudly and say "Here's the bag you gave me when I was a baby!" All of my girls have one (we have 3 daughters) and use them daily for carrying library books, dolls, toys, and trips to Granny's house. When they were babies/toddlers, we used them as their "diaper bags" for church. The nursery workers loved that they were monogrammed. There was never a sippy-cup mix up!
