The 24 oz cotton canvas quality is simply awesome on this tote! This is one tote bag that will never get out of fashion and the natural color on the canvas is a real classic!
I ordered all sizes and love all of them. The medium is perfect! It's my purse, I have safetypinned a small coin purse into the label inside ( for my 3 kids whenever they're looking for loose change. Also attached a small LED light ( whenever I or my hubby looking for something in the dark)Trust me it can be a black hole in there. This bag is my house, since there is no compartments inside,My wallet,cellphone, keys are together (item LLBeAN Ticket organizer wallet) I've organized all my stuff using small bags and ziplock bags for makeup, snacks,firstaid kit, etc (I'm a very busy and organizer freak person) I even have a file folder in for those important paperwork. My LLBean camelbak waterbottle(it sweats) is attached outside with rapelling clips. Phew! this bag is an aircraft carrier! Thanks!
I have had my tote since I was in grammar school. I just turned 40 so this bag is probably 30 years old. Still as good as new with only one little seam coming loose. That is quality!
The first boat & tote I bought was the classic, off white with red trim. I took the bag everywhere. And from normal everyday use, the bag got dirty. I washed it in my front-loading washing machine. It came out horribly wrinkled and the dryer did not help. I even tried to steam iron the wrinkles out. I love these bags and own several, but I would suggest doing a custom bag so you can choose your own colors. I have one with a navy bottom, light blue bag, yellow pocket and lime green handles. Its GREAT for the pool, the extra large fits lots of towels. I just wish they would have an option for an inside pocket with a zipper.
