I bought a small zip-top Boat and Tote bag in different colors for each of my bridesmaids and personalized each with their names - they loved them! It was a great gift and unique! The small bag is big enough to hold quite a lot, and I have purchased the medium-sized tote for myself and for my mom - it's great for going to the beach and for weekend trips.
I've lost track of how many of these bags I've purchased in different styles and colors for our family and friends. I can tell you that my son carried his desktop computer in the XL size on the train and bus traveling back and forth from college more than once. Carefully choose strap length for this. It was so much better than any other way he tried. I recently had two monogrammed for wedding/shower gifts. Hubby wanted one for auto show swap meets because it holds a ton of weight and is easy to carry. My niece, who is a teacher, asked for one to carry school papers, etc. It is a sturdy and dependable product.
My wife takes this bag with her for work as a techer and when we travel. She can stuff all sorts of things into it. It wears well and is very functional.I think it looks good to.
I purchased the small Boat and Tote Bag with long handles to use as my purse. With 3 kids I tend to carry a lot and the straps always break on my "regular" purses. I LOVE it, it is so sturdy and cute. I have recieved several compliments on it already and now my sister is getting one to use as her purse. It would be nice to have an inside pocket for small items, but regardless, it's fantastic!
