I hate paying for/acquiring things that are shoddy and won't last, and I will pay (relatively high) to buy something "once, right". This tote is top value for a fair price. It's a necessity for this car-less grocery shopper. The tote's construction is rock solid--I couldn't ask for improvements on its durability and/or design. I got long handles which has proven to be the right choice, what with food items spilling over. I've had the tote for about a year now, and it's standing up to a lot of abuse! Heavy loads of canned goods, etc. Go for it.
No matter how many pocketbooks I have, every summer this bag makes its way out! It perfectly fits water bottles, camera, wallet, tissues, sunglasses and all the other "stuff" you accumulate during the summer days. It's not bulky and the long handles make it easy to keep on your shoulders. I love the zipper for safety reasons and it's been a lifesaver at festivals, fairs, etc. since it's rugged, can be washed if needed and can hold everyone elses stuff!!! I love it :)
...how to keep it clean? I have several of these totes, one of which I put in the washer & the result was not good. Anything light-colored which is used regularly by a mother & her 2 young kids is bound to get filthy!
