The Boat 'N' Tote Bag made by L.L. Bean is the best there is. I have several sizes. Used daily is a custom medium bag with an outside pocket. One thing I really like about it is the sides stand upright and allow easy access to the contents. All I do to restore the new look is occasionally wipe it off with a damp cloth. The large one I have used for many things. Groceries, tools, temporary storage of important files, and with moving. I have loaded it with as much weight as I can carry and the bag is no worse for the wear. Other than some small soiled spots, it looks as good as when I first received it. In short, it is an outstanding product and a testimony to the quality I enjoy with all my purchases from L.L. Bean. If you can use a dependable, all-purpose carry all bag I recommend you waste no time in purchasing an L.L. Bean Boat 'N' Tote Bag.
I LOVE the LL Bean Tote Bags. I have purchased several over the years as gifts for others but had never bought any for myself. So... I bought the extra large one to carry my quilting items to our weekly quilting class and I got the large blue snowflake one to keep my creative stitchery items in. It is amazing how organized it keeps everything and how much they will hold. My daughters love the mini ones and use them as pocketbooks. I got all 3 of us the Wrapping Paper totes and they are perfect to hold many wrapping items. I love the durability of the bags and they NEVER wear out. I recently acquired one after my mother died that she used when she worked at school. It is just like new after many years of use. Thank you LLB for the workmanship of all your products.
Just what I was looking for. I use it at the desert garden to carry all my gardening tools. Construction of the bag is outstanding - from the fabric including the sewn parts of the bag.
I have purchased the medium, large and extra large. Used them on a trip as they started folded up and held our dirty laundry and other things as we traveled on a 2 week road trip. We use these bags regularly as well to tote things. The zip top really makes the bag. This bag goes to the grocery store, beach and every where we need it. Nice and sturdy. I have open top boat totes but the zip top keeps everything secure.
