I bought 4 medium bags with long handles in Mulberry for my bridesmaids and filled them with jewelry and other goodies. The color was a good match to the online swatch color. The material is very durable like a stiff canvas. I also had each bag monogrammed with the bridesmaids initials. (Note: I should have put names instead of initials for the bridesmaids who weren't married because some of them are now engaged and plan to change their last names.) I liked the bags so much that I ordered one for myself after the wedding.
LL Bean's Boat and Tote Bag is quite simply the best! It has superior quality and the colors it has been offered in over the years are great. I have owned several of these over time, and used them for everything from holding beach towels to using them as purses. They make my day easier and better while keeping me organized!
I received two of these - the large and the small - as a wedding gift from my husband. They make a great weekend travel set/carry-on. I have used them both for 4 years now, and they both look as good as the day I recieved them. I occasionally wash them, and they come out great. Very durable. I will never buy a different tote - except, of course, a different color or style from LLBean!
