I wasn't sure if I'd like this when I purchased it for out trip to FL. It arrived in great condition and in the time they said it would come. I needed a carryon for our flight and I chose the extra long handles to be able to put it over my shoulder to walk thru the airport with my checked bag.
It was perfect. The tote is very sturdy and I even used it when we went to the ocean to carry our towels and such. Would definitely buy another! Thanks LL BEAN! Quality!
This bag is not bad in quality. The only thing is the size. The large is too big and the medium is too small. At least, I find it to be that way.
At first I got the large one, then I returned it because it was seriously huge! Then I exchanged for a medium one, which was smaller than I expected since the large was so big. So, I've asked for a refund.
This bag is great! Very durable and great quality. I love that it stands up on it's own. I got the large bag with regular handles to use as a laundry bag in my baby boy's room... for now. It's monogrammed with his initials to use in different ways in the future. (A friend is using the small size bag as her diaper bag.. another great idea!)
I ordered the x-large bag, not realizing HOW big it was!.. Way too big, even with the regular hands... my son had fun crawling around in it until I returned it in exchange for a size large. The regular length handles still allows me to put it over my shoulder comfortably.
The bag is great and the LLBean customer service was top notch. They exchanged the bag with no questions asked, even with the monogram. Thank you! Whenever I need canvas bag in the future, I'll definitely be buying it from here!
I love to send these bags to new moms and have their child's name monogramed on it. They always write me back that it's the best baby gift they received!!
