I have been purchasing the Bote and Tote bags for years. I love to give them as gifts to new parents or to friends that do a lot of overnight or weekend travel. These bags are very sturdy and easy to clean. I love the color choices and especially love the fact that they can be personalized. I still use the original bag that I purchased to take on my honeymoon in 1996. It has traveled out of the country and up and down the east coast several times. I have shoved it under seats and in overhead compartments and it still looks great!
I have owned 2 totes personally, the xl and med with long handles. Each of my 3 children has a med tote with regular handles. My dog has the small tote for toys and short trips. WE LOVE OUR TOTES! They are durable, hold alot, and are Perfect for long car rides. We pack each child with enough toys, books, snacks, and neccesities, for a car trip (we've done the same thing on a plane trip for my daughter). I buy the regular colors, we are pretty traditional (cranberry, navy, hunter green, brown, and my daughters is an older color, citrus?) I give the LLbean Bote tote an Excellent rating.
