I am buying a Large bag for my daughter who will have a baby in Sept. I bought the one I have when I was pregnant with my daughter 28 years ago and I would get a new one for myself, but the old one still looks great and I use it all the time. When dirty throw in the wash and it come out looking great. This is the best ever LLBean product.
I ordered the small zip top tote on a Thursday evening and it arrived monday complete with monogram! The bag is the perfect size to use as a casual handbag or to tote smaller items. I have been in love with these bags since I was a kid. My aunts each had one, I think they only came in red and navy back then as that was the only colors all 5 of them had. When my granddaughter was born in 2011 I got her a large pink monogramed bag, and later a medium light green, possibly sage, monogramed bag. I now want to purchase one for her to keep her toys at my house contained and other use in the future. I would like advise from others who have purchased the xl, as I remember the large was quite large but I do not have it available for comparison. Also I'm thinking about purchasing 2 for myself for varied uses, travel, groceries, everyday use, possibly a large bag. Thank you.
As a charter boat skipper I have used my boat and tote for ten years without complaint, disappointment, or any form of negative thought. Endlessly useful for all those small and medium objects necessary to travel to boat and to home, I use them every day and bless my friends who first gave them to me.
