I have three of them in the medium size for myself (even hubby uses one of them). Also bought two of the small size for young nieces. Those are just right to fit small toys, a favourite stuffed animal and a few snacks for car rides. Love that the zipper top, when not in use, folds down flat inside the bag and is completely unobtrusive.
Gave as a gift, and could not have been more perfect. Not too big to lose stuff in it - just right for your cell phone, change purse, and even a small book for waiting in doctor's office.
Besides, that - I ordered it monogramed late on Sat. night before Christmas. It arrived in Florida on Tuesday afternoon-day before Christmas!!! Excellent service. Anddddd - all completed on line.
I have bought many canvas tote bags from different places over past year since grocery shopping bags are no longer free at grocery stores in the Bay Area. L.L. Bean canvas tote bags are the most well constructed and reliable bags that I trust and would recommend to any one. For my weekly usage, the medium bag can hold a total about four gallons of milk, o.j, yogurt and bags of frozen fruit without any problems. The handles (mine have short ones) are comfortable to grab and the bottom is wide and sturdy, no worry for tip over. Not counting the ones I bought for my relatives, I now own five of them, four medium and one small with zipper. I appreciate the quality of the bags and love them, especially they are made in the USA. They are great product!
