I have been buying these wonderful bags for a long time. I buy them for the grandchildren for overnight bags to Grandmamma's house and to tote their toys around - For the adults for briefcases and carryalls. I can not get over the sturdy canvas. They NEVER wear out. The monograming makes them such a special gift. The colors are beautiful. They wash well (I do them in the sink and hang to dry) - I would tell everyone to buy these bags. I bought the 1st one ever with a zipper and the zipper is so strong I know it will last as long as the bag! Thanks Again L.L. Bean for great product!
Our family is a great fan of L.L. Bean boat bags. Every one of us has at least one. When we go to the beach for a week in the summer 12 boat bags fully loaded are carried up the stairs to begin our family vacation. At Christmas the boat bags are unloaded at our house as the family gathers. The bags have served us well for years. Thank you, L.L. Bean.
I purchased 2 of the bags for myself over 25 years ago and my children have LOVED using them. They are still in perfect condition even though we use them all the time. I purchased this bag for our daughter to use for her gym clothes or going to a friends house. I'm sure she will use it at least 25 years as well. Thanks so much for making a GREAT product!!
I have given this bag as a signature baby gift at least 20 times. More and more often I am stymied by the limited color choices or the lack of availability. Pinks and yellows in particular are frequently unavailable or sold out. Why is such an LL Bean staple ever sold out?
