I purchased two of these in size large, both different colours and monogrammed. This is not the first time I have purchased them, always a great and sturdy gift for a new mom, as who ever carts one bag only with a new baby? There is always something extra to keep in them, the longer handles are easy on the shoulder, and when monogrammed, they become a very personal bag, something the child can use as they grow, take overnight to grandma's or a friend's place. They are sturdy, and get softer with wear. Only one thing I can mention, if they get dirty, how does one clean them? I don't know if you could wash it or not. I hope so. Great buy and good quality.
Over the years, we've owned several "Bean Bags" of various sizes and colors. They wear like iron, and rarely totally wear out. Our little cavachon dog has recently traveled with us, and if you travel with dogs, especially a Diva Dog, you know they have their own travel paraphernalia. We need to take her food, her treats, her toys, her life jacket, etc., not to mention her LL Bean monogrammed bed! Being a registered Therapy Dog, our Weezie also travels for her "work." What better carrier for her gear than a new LL Bean bag? We especially like the extra long handles now available as an option, and the girly color is perfect for our girly dog. Weezie gives a paws up WOOF to LLBean!
My family has always owned boat and totes but this is the first one that I've purchased for myself. It is great quality and I like that you can choose to have long handles/short handles, zipper top/no zipper top. The only thing that makes me sad is seeing the colors that were available years ago and wishing they still made them. However, I do love the Jadeite color and am very happy to own it! I will be using this for traveling.
