I'm a college instructor and needed a nice, sturdy bag to carry all of my materials around in while on campus. When I saw that this came in pink trim, I was sold! I also got it monogrammed and it turned out SO nice! Now I get to show it off at work all while it being tough enough for all my heavy books, papers, food, etc.!
For Christmas I received a L bag which I asked for, it was HUGE! I thought it was a mistake and they sent an XL. Exchanged for another L to find they were the same, sent them both back and got a M. Finally, a regular sized tote bag. If you are looking for a regular classic tote bag size, GET A MEDUIM! I am not a small girl and the L was almost unwieldy, and if I filled it with groceries I could never lift it! This medium is exactly what I wanted to take on an airplane, or to bring in some things from the store. I got pink and monogrammed, and I am finally happy! L was big enough to put a Q comforter in, I can't imagine how big XL would be and who would need a bag that big!
I bought this for my young daughter for Christmas. She is always carrying her stuffed animals, books and or crafts on trips and to friends houses. I bought the small tote and had it monogrammed with her name. It arrived quickly and looked awesome. When my daughter opened it she loved it!! No more plastic or paper bags now she has her own personalized tote to carry her things around and stay organized. We have a large tote and they are always a great way to carry items when traveling we think they are the best. Our large tote we have had for over 20 years and still use it to this day.
