As so many others have said, this is a wonderful bag. My 8 year old daughter uses it for a purse and it fits over her shoulder easily with the regular straps. I can get it on my shoulder too, as long as I don't have a thick/bulky shirt on. Great color and quality!
I just got this to replace my LLBean diaper bag, now that my little one has learned the potty. I still needed to carry a little extra stuff, so this is a nicer size, for my fewer items. The long handles and zipper make it perfect. I got the cedar green, monogrammed, and it looks really nice. So sturdy! I'll have this forever! Just like my old Boat and Tote from the 80's, which I used to carry my schoolbooks in, this bag could hold more weight than any human could comfortably carry and still wont break a stitch!
I just ordered another one of these boat and tote bags to replace the one my husband has used for a good 15 years. He uses it as a fishing bag and certainly tests it's strength and durability. The only problem with his old one is that it has become stained by too many years of being soaked in lake water! Talk about quality and durability - that is this bag. I also like them because they can be a fashionable accessory for everyday use, too.
I have wanted one of these totes for years and I've finally got one! I wanted the beautiful Tea Green, but of course, it was sold out! So after getting over my disappointment, I ordered the Cedar Green! Its not the rustic green it appears on the computer screen, its a warm, fresh apple green. If you are on the fence as I was, and your not interested in a deep forestry green or a heavy green then give it a try. ! I love the color. Its a wonderful compliment to our laundry room where I will be keeping it to corral all my shopping bags. After I get over my glee, I am going to order another one. I don't know why I waited so long, these bags are gorgeous, stylish, and durable! I am going to have this bag for many years to come and several more. The quality is just that good!
