Just purchased two customized zip top long handle Boat and Totes. I wasn't sure between the small and medium so I ordered both, had both monogramed and received them within 7 days of ordering them which was great (I am in Canada so I thought this may take a lot longer). The bags are excellent quality and look like they will stand the test of time, we will use them for beach bags when we go down south so they will get a lot of use. My only gripe and it isn't about the product is that when custom ordering it shows colours that you can't order which is a little annoying but again that has nothing to do with the product itself.
I ordered these bags in a size medium as a gift for my bridesmaids. I ordered 2 first and then planned to order the additional 3. When I returned to LL Bean online to order the additional 3 the specific color and style I needed was sold out! I was in panic mode! I immediately began a live chat with LL Bean customer service. The live chat specialist was amazing! I told her my location and she checked in store inventory. She even called the store to make sure they had the product and could do the embroidery. She was so helpful! All I needed to do to complete my purchase was call the store and pay! The store even shipped me the bags free of charge! I had the bags in my hands 2 days later. She made the purchase and process seem so easy and seamless! And best of all, I got the bags I needed in the size I needed in the color I needed and I could not be happier with them. The quality, color, style and size is absolutely perfect! Thank you to LL Bean for making such a great product and for going above and beyond to help me complete my purchase!
I was looking for a small tote to put all my essentials to make my rounds to all my facilities since I'm a travelling Physical Therapist. I googled it and the boat & tote bags came up as one of the best totes out there. After reading the reviews, learning about its history and the fact that it's made in the US.I was sold. I bought the small with the zip top. I will definitely buy more of these.
