Buying a third one - thank you very much! This is durable and I literally use it everyday to carry anything! Great for the beach, for baby stuff, for your hairdryer makeup, anything you need! I think I am going to buy some for the whole family this Christmas.
My family of three uses it as a beach bag. When I was thinking about size, my husband said, “Go big or go home” so I bought the extra-large. It is perfect for us. It holds our towels, change of clothes, drinks, and personal belongings. I’m 5’7” and have no problems carrying it full loaded.
My only complaint: it does not have any interior pockets. I purchased a plastic make-up bag to keep our wallets, keys, cell phone etc away from wet bathing suits/towels. The lack of pocket keeps me from giving it 5 Stars.
I treated it with ScotchGuard and it still looks as good as new, several trips to the pool and no color bleeding.
I ordered the Medium, zip top, long handles in red and I am going to order another immediately. This bag is fantastic!!! I wish I would have discovered it before. I had no idea how sturdy this fabric would be. *Order it you will not be disappointed!!!*

I just received my large LLBean tote today. I ordered pink waterlilly and the monogram was in rose - its so cute and girlie, but at the same time has the LL Bean heavy duty quality. I know it will last a long time. I love the color - not just red, navy, or hunter green anymore - so thank you for that! I hold an LLBean credit card so the ship and the monogramming was free. $33. total. I got the short handles in large this time. Previously I ordered x large with long handles and found it to be too large in terms of heaviness, once I packed our family's belongings for the day. I have b/g twins and I still typically carry everything to the beach. I use this for the library as well for us. Gather a lot of books and away we go. :) I love it.
