I was trying to replace a beloved canvas beach tote I've had for 17 years. I somehow misplaced this bag after my last Caribbean trip. I ordered this LL Bean tote but was disappointed with the interior having no smaller zippered compartment for easy access to keys, cash, and other smaller items. For a bag this large that is a common sense option missing.
I just got in my X-Large Custom Boat N Tote and my excitement quickly turned into laughter when I saw how ridiculously large this bag was. The picture of the woman holding the bag - totally not accurate. It's probably double that. Basically, I could fit my 5'3" 125lb self INSIDE this bag. I wanted a nice big bag for pool and beach trips, but this thing is just way too big. The quality was nice though and I'll definitely be re-ordering this in a smaller size.
