I just bought an extra large with zip top, long handles in blue and its big enough to use it as a suitcase. I also have a large and a small with open top, long handles I had those for 7 years and they look great concidering that I take them everywhere I go with my kids. (zoo, park, water park, camping) Just love them.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, last forever!!!
When my daughter was born I ordered totes of all sizes for her with her initials, she still carries these to this day and they have never worn out. She now is 20, a firefighter and an EMT, and in the back of her SUV is her gear in what.... her LL Bean Totes from 19 years ago! What a great buy. Thank you!!!!
As a Mom of 3 kids, this bag even totes my little one! It holds 5 towels, goggles, sunscreen and all kinds of goodies. It is durable and well constructed. The inside divided pockets are perfect for organizing all that you need to carry. I would HIGHLY recommend it!
I ordered a navy blue, open top, long handles tote in extra-large--big enough to be a suitcase on a week-long vacation. I stuffed camping gear, park toys, sports gear, bug spray, water bottles, picnic stuff etc. in it and it stays in my car for spontaneous fun days with my toddler (it's SO much easier to get out of the house when you are already packed!). I ordered a medium, monogrammed (3 initials flared), long handles, navy blue, open top tote for my mom for her birthday to carry work and library items. The initials are beautiful but I do wish it were slightly larger (I was told the large would be the size of a weekend bag and didn't want to hurt her back). Maybe a "medium and a half" size would be good. I plan on ordering a large for my car for pool/beach/waterpark days, a medium zip-top to use as a gym bag, a small for my son to use as a library/preschool bag, and a small for my niece for her 1st birthday. I'll review those as well in case anyone wants a full comparison. I do recommend long handles, they are great for when you need both hands free.
