Got the Extra Large with Regular straps in Pink for my daughter. The pink is not as shown online. It looks like neon pink. Also the regular straps on the extra large bag are too short to be functional. When the bag is full the straps don't touch so you can't carry it with one hand. And definitely way too short to sling over your shoulder.
Exchanging it for different color with long straps.
I just got my custom boat and totes in medium and large. I bought one to use as a diaper bag a while ago and it is beautiful and strong. And now 2 for me for travel. The color combo I picked (pink, blue, red) is gorgeous and the monogram makes it so chic! I highly, highly recommend! And the shipping was so fast. Love LL Bean!
My sons received bags like these as gifts approximately 10 years ago and they were our go-to bags for anything from martial arts classes to the beach. The old ones had a small exterior pocket on the outside good for keys or a wallet. The inside had a pocket that ran around the bottom side of the bag which was very useful. Unfortunately, the new version has neither which is disappointing. The quality seems to be about the same. Time will tell as the other ones were virtually indestructible (except against fire, thus the need to replace them).
