We own quite a few of these totes in all sizes and have used them for years. They are extremely strong. The large and extra-large are great for toting linens and groceries to a vacation home. My husband has even abandoned real suitcases and uses an open-top large tote for his clothes when we travel by car. The only piece of advice I would offer is to consider the longer handles - it really is nice to be able to comfortably sling the totes over your shoulder.

Best bag ever. They hold a ton of stuff, always stand up on their own even after they have been sat on. I bought my first bag in 2005 when I started my teacher prep classes and I still have that bag. I prefer the long handles so that I can throw it over my shoulder easily. Great, long lasting bags that are build for the long haul. My bags have gotten me through two colleges, a move to an apartment and through my first year of teaching. They have taken so much abuse and still stand up, zip beautifully and look wonderful. At the rate this bag is going, I'll probably be buried with it!
I have a 5-year-old and we love our extra large bag. It has plenty of room for all our beach towels, goggles, toys, flip-flops, etc. The only feature it does not have, and I wish it did, are some pockets or compartments in the bag to put things like my driver's license, residents' badge (needed to get into said pool area) and sunglasses or keys. It's one big bag and that stuff gets lost in there. Otherwise it's an excellent bag.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, functional
Love this bag! I have 3 in different sizes and I swear you couldn't destroy these things no matter the kind of beating they get everyday. The canvas is super stiff without being uncomfortable and the straps stay on your shoulder for the most part. I use these for every single thing I do. Good gift!
