All of the guys where I work asked me one day where I got my shirts pressed. They were complaining about their dry cleaners. I told them that I didn't take them anywhere, they are in my closet, looking pressed every day. They said, "Your wife does that for you?" And I said, "L.L. Bean." Thanks for the fine-looking affordable shirts. My 3 sons love them as well.
My brother owns several of these shirts and ever since I bought one for him for Christmas a 2 or 3 years ago, these are the only shirts that he buys anymore. He wears them to work. He brags about them. I think that not only does he like the way they look, but he also loves how easy they are to take care of.
I too have bought LL Bean oxford shirts forever and totally agree with a previous post (below). The shirt lacks the softness and comfort of its predecessor by a mile. New "non wrinkle resistant" feels like your wearing a starched business shirt. Not comfortable at all! I have a couple old and a couple new and its always the old shirts that I wear. I won't buy another "wrinkle resistant", permanent crease shirt. This goes for all Beans wrinkle resistant merchandise. Bring back the old! Please!!
"Have bought LL Bean oxford shirts for years, but the wrinkle resistant finish leaves the shirt lacking the feel and softness and comfortable fit that the regular (non wrinkle resistant) shirts offered."
These shirts are amazing! Just shake them out of dryer and hang them. No ironing ever! I bought them in every color LLBean offers for my husband...and to free me from the ironing board!
