I am a basic traditionalist, and have worn oxford cloth, button down collar shirts all my life. Without a doubt, this is my all time favorite. It launders exceptionally well and looks as good at the end of the day as it does when I put it on. It is truly a great value.
When my husband takes these shirts out of the closet and asked if they've been ironed, I smile--"No, dear, that's just how they came out of the dryer." Great fabric--has some body, unlike others which feel limp.
I've worn oxford cloth shirts for 50 years now and this is the best oxford cloth shirt I've ever worn. After purchasing oxford cloth shirts from other well-known makers and retailers, I won't buy from any other maker than LL Bean. The price and quality cannot be beaten. The shirt holds up to years of successive launderings, even extra heavy starch! I've yet to have one shrink at the laundry. I always pack them for vacation and after hanging up any wrinkles promptly fall out. Thanks LL Bean for making the world's best oxford cloth shirt!
These shirts are of excellent quality. The fabric and construction are of the highest order. I thoroughly recommend them. I just wish shipping to the UK was less expensive!
