Excellent
PostedJanuary 22, 2015
This shirt is made the way all shirts should be made. Most shirts fit fine, but most shirts are no longer made of the great quality fabric that this shirt is. The see-thru fabric from other companies will never compare to this fabric. Thank you L.L. Bean -- I will be ordering more.

Great shirts but traditional fit is HUGE
PostedJanuary 21, 2015
If you have a slightly larger neck size (I wear 16 or 16.5) but a normal body size these shirts are absolutely huge. I have bought slightly fitted or slim fit shirts from LL Bean which fit me much better. However, there are very few color choices in those styles. I really wish LL Bean would offer a wide range of colors in the various styles.

Bring back Burgundy stripe
PostedJanuary 17, 2015
Excellent shirt, purchase them regularly, last a long time and launder well. But for some reason you seem to have discontinued the long sleeve Burgundy color stripe, which goes well with my wardrobe, and have been patiently waiting for this color to reappear. Please bring it back!

GREAT shirt - one drawback
PostedJanuary 15, 2015
These shirts are by far, the best value for the money when it comes to wrinkle-free oxfords - there's just no comparison elsewhere, especially when they offer 10% or even 20% off of your entire purchase, but even without the discount, the quality is unsurpassed - except one small issue - the sleeve button-hole. On multiple shirts, within about 6 months or so, they inevitably begin to lose the stitching that holds the hole together. I have about 20 of these shirts and nearly every one of them has this problem on one or both sleeves. They really aren't noticeable to others, but you'll know it when you attempt to button or unbutton the sleeves and the button gets caught in the new "loop" created when the stitching partially pulls from the cloth and catches the button as you're trying to put on or remove the shirt. This said, I'll continue to buy these shirts, but it would be great if Bean could improve on this without an upcharge for the shirt.
