You know that feeling when you put on a piece of clothing and everything screams "QUALITY"? This is the shirt. The heavy cotton panels are amazingly wrinkle resistant, yet so comfortable and it breaths well. Please don't change this classic male work shirt, and I will keep buying for the rest of my working life! Gentlemen, do not deprive yourself of this experience.
I have been buying oxford shirts for my husband for over 30 years and I have never found ANY like the quality of these from LLBean. They wash beautifully and stay fresh and new-looking. I've been wearing these shirts for at least ten years now. I can keep one of them for two to three years and they still don't wrinkle. I was glad to see that they recently brought back the Burnt Orange color and ordered one right away. I like all the colors, but the Burnt Orange combines a dress and semi-casual shirt that looks good. I've never had a problem with anyone of these shirts.
I have the Deep Balsam (Green) and the Cabernet (Red and Blue) tattersall versions of this shirt. I am never happier than when I'm in a classic oxford-cloth button down shirt and these were excellent additions to my collection.
Bean makes these in regular sizes, so one is not stuck with medium being a bit too small and large a bit too big. The colors are rich and appealing. They're perfect with a pair of jeans or dressed up with a solid-colored tie. I'm a magician and I did a number of holiday shows in the Deep Balsam shirt with a solid-green knit tie and a brown suit. I looked great, if I may say so myself.
