To be fair, I have about 15 or 20 of these shirts, so I may be a bit biased. These are a somewhat heavier oxford cloth than your standard, run-of-the-mill oxford cloth shirts today. This is the way better brand oxford shirts were built back in the 60's. Classic fit and classic details. PLUS, they look freshly pressed out of the dryer! I have had zero problems with my Bean shirts…love 'em and love to wear 'em!
This is a great shirt. The construction, hue (blue) and fabric weight are all very endearing. But it doesn't stay tucked in too well on my overlong torso. Please Beans, make these in a tall as you do all your other shirts.
Have worn these shirts for years in the office. Am now wearing them with sleeves up & tails untucked for my retired liesure-time. They are well made, professionally detailed and surprisingly tough. You can take them out of the dryer and put them on immediately. Give them a quick iron touch-up & they will look fresh from the dry-cleaners. Great shirt, great price too.
