The last three Oxford cloth shirts that I have bought from LLBean are not nearly as good as what I used to get, eight or ten years ago. The material is now too hard, feels as though it has been heavily starched. Sizing is also not as carefully done as previously. Shoulders too wide for a 15 1/2 inch neck. But I'm ordering another one because I don't know where to get something better. Too bad, rather sad.
I have ordered and worn these shirts for several (many) years in French Blue and really enjoyed them. The French Blue that is offered now is nothing like the old rich looking blue, and is a very, very light blue. Please bring back the true French Blue.
I was surprised how heavy this shirt is. My husband went from all uniforms to needing suits so we purchased a few of these shirts. As stated, they come out of the laundry nice and so far I have managed to avoid the weekly (expensive) laundry service!
I have purchased these shirts for several years and love them. I just bought 3 more of the French Blue only to discover that the color has changed and is now MUCH lighter. PLEASE bring back the original darker French Blue.
