I have been a loyal customer of LL Bean for the past 40 years…..I have not once had the need to return any items purchases….I just packaged 6 of these shirts to return for poor quality…Each one has frayed around the collar button……The oldest one I have had for about 4 months……the newest 3 weeks…...until they change their manufacturing and QC policies I will be buying from their competitor….
I wear these shirts 3 out of 5 days at work and always when travelling for work. I just have never found anything that needs less care other than levis. Matter of fact, I sometimes wear with levis on weekends. Like levis and good karate gis, they're a little heavy; as I spend much of my working life in an over-airconditioned office that is hardly a disadvantage. I have often thought with gratitude about my friend Hendon who sold me on these uber wrinkle-free shirts. I owe him! One micro quibble- More choices with the same fabric quality would assure more sales.
