ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, classic, stylish
This is the only shirt my husband now allows me to buy for him and, as a result, he has every color offered. He loves this shirt for many reasons, including: (1) stays crisp regardless the weather (2) perfect fit (he is 6'4") (3) classic style (4) lasting quality (5) wrinkle-resistant If I have to pick one negative it would be the color of the "french blue" - it really is more a lavender blue than "french blue". I chose to keep it - I take the shirts directly out of their packaging and put them in the wash before my husband even sees them - because it's still a beautiful color, just not a true "french blue". My hope is two-fold: (1) that the quality of these shirts never diminish, and (2) that they are never discontinued!
this has become my favorite shirt. looks great right out of the wash, no ironing needed. i have other shirts from competitors, but for the price and quality, this is the way to go. i liked it so much i have been buying a couple every week.
Please, Please, Please, add larger sizes or Big and Tall. This great shirt is juuuust that much too small for it to fit. I wear a 50 or 52in chest, and this seems about 1 size too small. The 2X tall polos from Bean fit me wonderfully, but not the dress shirts. Please consider us bigger guys who want the great LL Bean quality and value.
I have been buying these shirts for my husband for at least 10 years. It's all he wears to work, day in and day out and he has dozens of them. He loves them and thinks they are comfortable. However, sadly we have noticed over the past 2-3 years that every one of them start to wear at the elbows within a few months. I care for them the same way I always have. It is very disappointing and definitely not the quality I have grown to love from LL Bean.
