My husband owns over 20 of these shirts they are the best. One problem, what happened to the ecrew color???? White is sometimes to stark but the ecrew is perfect for all occations and all year aound and everyone can wear this color. PLEASE bring it back, soon.
I typically buy LL Bean trim fit but wanted to give the regular fit a try. It is a great shirt and the fit is nice. The fabric is very nice and feels high quality. I'm sure this shirt will last and I really enjoy the longer length of the tall sizes.
I own 10 or 12 of these shirts. They are of remarkable quality…much better than the competitor shirts. The oxford cloth is a bit sturdier than most others, much like premium oxford shirts were back in the 60's. Factor into the equation that this shirt is wrinkle-free right out of the dryer (and I mean "just pressed" wrinkle free) and L.L.Bean has a shirt that is a winner…in quality, fit and value! Nobody does it better than L.L.Bean!
Purchased 6 shirts (different colors) between Freeport store and online. All have exactly the same fit. I'm not a fan of wrinkle-resistant material but these shirts have held up through a commercial laundry and look as good at the end of the day as morning. This seems to be a very consistently manufactured shirt instead of the fit and tailoring depending on the country of origin. L.L.Bean has become my new source of dress shirts based on quality and value.
