ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, timeless style
Finally found it. This is the short that they don't sell in the department stores any more. Heavy soft cloth, classic style, durable and comfortable. And check the seams with a magnifying glass: no dangling/loose threads--these shirts are well made with attention to detail. These shirts used to be ubiquitous and now they are difficult to find. Who needs to spend twice this much for an inferior quality shirt at a trendy retailer?
Nice thick cotton shirt. Just got it and it looks and feels like a great quality shirt. I am hopeful it will wear well and look good for a very long time.
I have tried many different brands/styles of shirts and these have been the best. Great weight, wash and wear shirt. Works well as both an everyday and a dress shirt. I liked it so much had to order more.
This shirt is constructed more like a shirt for working in the woods. Sure, it looks nice from a distance, but the material is way too stiff, too thick, and too warm for a dress shirt. I have ordered many different styles of LL Bean dress and casual shirts and I like them all except for this one. Believe the other reviewers about the shirt material.
I ordered two of them. I returned the one I received and canceled the backorder on the other one.
