I have been wearing both the wrinkle free oxford and pinpoint oxfords for years and I really like them both. I travel a lot and these shirts look great right out of my bag with minimal packing care. My only complaint is the lack of dark colors. I wish LLBean would offer the same quality shirt in black, navy, forest green, and burgundy.
Compared with the same shirt (traditional fit, as slim fit not available) from ten years ago, the quality has really declined. My old shirts have never lost a single button, and wore like iron, never wrinkling. Although the slim fit suits my body type/shape much better, the first button fell off before I even made it from my house to my office ten minutes away! A wrinkle-free shirt is all about convenience and low maintenance. Loosing a button and having to pull out a needle and thread on the first day was very annoying.
The cloth is a bit stiff, but hopefully will wear well, although others are reporting problems. The similar styled pinpoint oxford shirts are a bit softer, thinner, and slightly more dressy. I prefer the thinner cloth for my warm environment, and in future would chose the pinpoint oxford over this model, even given the slight premium in price.
The slim fit is nice to have, as is the flexibility in sizing. I wish more than just the very basic colors/patterns were available in slim fit.
The other upside is the price, which is cheaper than many fancy dress shirts. LL Bean has kept the price low over the years. They used to represent value for money, but now I feel corners are being cut. I guess you get what you pay for! Wish I'd shelled out a bit more for a better made shirt.

I loved these shirts (friends thought that I had started ironing!) BUT signs of wear way too soon means they will have to be thrown out. Pity!
These continue to be very nice durable shirts that do not shrink if washed and dried properly. I do not like the stiffness of these shirts now that they are wrinkle free. I have stopped ordering them.. Sad, they were my favorite go to shirts.
